cold remedies

I discovered another pretty good cold remedy last week though: Shoe shopping + café con leche. I haven’t bought any camper shoes yet.. but I’m really close. They’re so comfortable and would be an investment in transportation since we walk to do everything here and the streets are made of paving stones or concrete (very hard surfaces). (www.camper.com)

Aside from shoes, Camper makes foodballs, pictured above. These are supposed to be healthy balls of food and three of them make a pretty good filling meal. Above are pictured a warm foodball (like seafood pallea, or chicken, or vegetable) a cold foodball (like chickpea, or tofu and seaweed), and a dessert foodball (like carob-orange muffin or date). I might not have been able to completely appreciate the taste due to my cold, but I felt like I was ingesting 'healthy' so I felt better. :)

I actually bought a pair of Camper shoes a couple of weeks ago, but I bought them in Norway. They gave me terrible blisters the fist times I used them, but are getting more and more comfortable the more I use them. I am of the opinion that you cannot live in Spain for several months without buying Camper shoes; that would just be wrong.

I hope your cold is better.
