Mountains!!
hehe! I climbed a mountain! yes! it's true! Myself, and two other classmates from Planning (Sheena and Arif) set out this past Saturday to climb to the top of Mt. Fairview in Banff National Park, next to Lake Louise! The summit is at 9,000ft above sea level, and we hiked 3,280ft from Lake Louise to the top. There's an awesome one of me at the top looking over the Bow River Valley. We were up above the treeline looking eye to eye with alpine glaciers.
PS yes, the gradient was "punishing" at times, but we were troopers. Well, Sheena does this stuff all the time, but Arif and I were challenged, lets say. read: my quads are so sore today that they feel like tenderised beef. I had to take the bus instead of biking to work. :P
