the trend continues
So, in addition to the below post.. I also got my hair highlighted this weekend. Here's a picture of it. I like it muchly.. not too obvious (nobody at work noticed today) but still discernable. It will probably get lighter over the rest of the summer and that's just fine with me. :)Also, I took a few pictures of my condo this weekend..
My living room from my dining room. The balcony on the left is rather narrow, but it's good for looking out over the city and catching some fresh air.
The dining room:

And finally, the kitchen! I can see the tv from the counter... so I'm watching the game while making dinner tonight.

Back up behind the kitchen there is first the bedrooms, then the bathroom, and then the front door.

Hooray! I like pictures of the places where people live! Also, I like the hair -- it's a nice complement to your original colour, but not too subtle. (unobservant coworkers notwithstanding)

Wow, your place is awesome! It looks like you'd get lots of natural light in there, and I love the art you have up in your living room. I'm jealous ;)
Also, love the highlights. But you knew that.

Cute apartment! Do you live on your own? Often I wish that I did...but roomies do make the rent go down... ;)
Nice hair, too! :)

yeah, I really love this place. I'm just subletting it for the summer, so unfortunately, I don't own it, and unfortunately, the wall coverings (and most of the furniture) aren't mine.
However, because I'm subletting, rent is cheap, I have the whole two-bedroom top floor place to myself, and I don't have to worry about where to put all this furniture when I leave for Barcelona in two months. (!)
I've been enjoying living by myself, it didn't take long at ALL to get used to. However, a few weeks ago a friend of mine stayed here while she was in town on business. I realized that even though I don't mind living alone, I really really like having someone around to be silent with. I guess I'm not cut out to be a hermit.
In the mean time, CBC radio keeps me company.
